We opened The Wooden Spoon in 2018 with a simple idea: cook the kind of food we'd want to eat, using the best ingredients we can find close to home. Turns out, a lot of people in Vernon wanted the same thing.
Our kitchen works with farms and producers across the North Okanagan — from the vegetables on your plate to the honey in your cocktail. When the seasons change, so does our menu. That's how food should work.
Whether you're here for a slow Saturday brunch with friends or a Tuesday night dinner for two, we want it to feel like you're eating at someone's home. Except the food's better and you don't have to do the dishes.
